This photo is one of many I enjoy from photographer Robert Capa. He was a photo journalist. This photo is one of my favorites, it was taken on the beach during the invasion at Normandy.
it is strange how combat photographer make such lasting and important photos..there is a famous picture of a sailor kissing his sweetie in times square (i beleive) that i always remember, i think there should be more shots of the reunions that happen after the battles, because that person that is waiting at home is as important as the person fighting far away...normandy invasion, i hope no one has to have to do anything like that again...ever
