Recently I went with the art dept bus trip to NYC. I went to a few galleries in chelsea butthe main focus of this trip was to meet up with my son Kyle and go to Pratt university to see the campus.

My son is a sophomore there and I had never seen the campus.

I am currently work to complete my artist statement, resume, and both my portfolio folders.

We are still shooting our art work both in natural light and using halogen lamps.

This past week we all had a chance to photograph a couple of pieces of our work for our portfolio. Now we have learned how to scan and photograph our work.  I also learned how to photograph a 3D piece of art work. This all  was of course after a wonderful snow storm that closed the school on Monday.

This week in class we are learning how to photograph our works for our portfolio's to send off to a four year college when we are ready.
